Kuwait Oil Company is subsidiary of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation and Specialized for Upstream Project. KOC main role is to explore, develop and produce hydrocarbons within the State of Kuwait. The Company activities had extended to include exploration operations, on-shore and off-shore surveys, drilling of test wells, and developing of producing fields in addition to crude and natural gas exploration.

Kuwait current oil Production is approximately in range 2.5 million barrels per day and its strategy is to increase the oil production by 5.5 million barrels per day in next five years.

Kuwait's currently produces around 1.17 billion cubic feet per day (Bcf/d) of natural gas. Kuwait increasingly requires supplies of natural gas for the generation of electricity, water desalination, and petrochemicals.
KOC has announced a production target of 4 Bcf/d by 2030, about four times the current production level.
Kuwait government have budgeted a massive investment plan to implement the strategy of increasing the Oil & Gas Production Capacities by enhancing and developing the Oil & Gas and Refinery projects.
